Matter is unknowable because every time you cut through a layer of structure you open up another layer of structure. Structure is not objective. It is at a technological, not objective level. It is the structure of the ordering of emissions of behavior - it is behavior. It is an exaggeration to pretend otherwise. Although we do it all the time. We must do otherwise since we have no way of expressing ourselves in the world. But it is an exaggeration.
